Description
Write a report on the physical access controls employed by the NWU to safeguard their computer
facilities on the top floor of building 9A. Use the 10 controls in chapter 9 from Whitman & Mattord
as a guideline to which controls should be considered. The report should also contain a section on
fire detection and suppression.
The report should evaluate the controls that are in place, highlighting their relevance, possible
improvements, and the role they play in improving the security. It should also consider the controls
that are not in place, and then make recommendations on whether they are necessary, and if so,
how they should be implemented.
The report will be evaluated out of 50 marks.
