Write an essay of 500-750 words in which you:
Describe the childhood development of language and the age in which bilingualism can be developed naturally.
Define code-switching and discuss how it may impact the education of a child if they must attend a school that uses a language different than the one they use predominantly at home.
Draw some of your own conclusions on how code-switching might influence an individual’s thought processes as well as academic achievement.
Use two to three scholarly resources to support or refute your own hypotheses.
