HRM 326 Week 5 Professional Coaching
I was recently asked at short notice for a recommendation for leadership training – a younger fellow was being rapidly promoted over several older managers. They wanted him to be able to establish credibility quickly.
My recommendation was a coach – an outside coach with experience in the industry rather than some sort of executive development program – I thought it would take too long.
What’s your view on this sort of situation? What might you recommend?
