Description
HRM 326 Week 2 Learning Objectives
Learning objectives are very important in designing training. In theory, you start with them. In practice, you start with a draft. They often change a bit during design and development. It is just the nature of things.
It is a bit like writing a paper – sometimes you have to write the whole thing before you can settle on an introduction.
The chapter talks about 5 kinds of learning objectives. And then it goes on to discuss how to write really good objectives. Good objectives use strong verbs. See Tables 5-6 and 5-7.
Thinking about the situation you described in your Week One Training Needs Analysis, what sort of objectives would be appropriate
? Please share at least one learning objective that might work for your scenario.
